Let’s start with a question? Humanity has been died? We are supposed to be kind, generous to every creature who is living on earth, breathing and surviving. A heart wrenching news came out that a pregnant elephant died after feeding a pineapple filled with firecrackers that burst up in her mouth. This was being fed up by the local community in India.

Mohan Krishnan, a Forest officer from India said that “the soon-to-be mother elephant died some days after the explosion, standing up in a river in northern Kerala’s Malappuram district.”

This wild elephant left the forest and searched out a nearby village for some food where the locals gave her the fiddled fruit.

The thing to be considered is that even not a single arrest has been made after a week of a death case of this elephant in Kerala’s Palakkad District, standing in a river. Local people from that area revealed that the elephant had eaten a pineapple stuffed with crackers. This incident has clinched many people to take strong action against the culprits.

Surendrakumar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden said that “her jaw was broken and she was unable to eat after she chewed the pineapple which exploded in her mouth.”

This issue got spotlight when Mohan Krishnan shared this news on social media. He said that “she was standing in the river with her head dipped in water. She trusted everyone. When the pineapple she ate exploded, she must have been shocked not thinking about herself, but about the child, she was going to give birth to in 18 to 20 months,” he told on his Facebook account.

This incident majorly took place on 27th May, 2020. Forest officials stated that this elephant died because he was suffering from lower jaw pain and he got an injury some time ago.

Wildlife Officer, Silent Valley National Park made a statement that ““First, we observed this animal on May 23 when we were informed by locals that an elephant has been roaming around in the private area of the forest. When one of our staff members went to see the elephant, it was observed that the wound in the lower jaw area was exposed. Later, for at least 24 hours the animal was trying to look for water and on May 24 we received information that the animal has come into river Velliyar.”

In an opinion what the pandemic world is facing, kindness, empathy is all what everyone is needed. Don’t act brutal what the circumstances are. Lives of every individual matters and understand this term. If someone is at your door to bet something, provide them but with a good one. That’s all that you need to do to survive.
